Brandon Brice

Assistant Professor of Economics, University of North Carolina-Wilmington

Brandon Brice is an assistant professor of economics at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. He earned his PhD in economics at Florida State University. While at Florida State University he served as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and is currently instructing classes on microeconomic and macroeconomic principles, economic thinking, and economic development. His research interests include institutional analysis and development with a focus on violent conflict and institutional change. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2014-2015, 2015-2016, and 2016-2017 academic years. Brandon earned his MS in economics from Florida State University and his BA in economics from West Virginia University.
