Benjamin Katzeff Silberstein

Benjamin Katzeff Silberstein is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on the construction of the system for government surveillance and political control in North Korea, particularly from the end of the Korean War (1950–1953). Benjamin earned an MA (with honors) in international relations and international economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a BA in political science from Stockholm University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2017-2018 academic year.
