Augustus Panton is a PhD student in economics at The Australian National University. His research interests include macroeconomics, monetary policy, international economics and finance, and climate policy. His dissertation focuses on the interlinkage between macroeconomic stabilization policies and climate policy, and the implications of climate change and policy options for macroeconomic stabilization. Augustus earned an MA in international economics and finance from the University of Queensland, an MCom in finance from Osmania University and a BA in accounting and economics from the University of Liberia.
