Anna Faria

Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs

Anna Faria is an assistant professor of economics at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She graduated with a PhD in economics in 2017 and MA in economics in 2014 from George Mason University. She received her BA in economics from James Madison University in 2012. While pursuing her PhD at George Mason University, she was a Mercatus Center PhD Fellow. Her research examines nineteenth century economic history and the rise of authoritarianism in the early twentieth century in Brazil.
