Alicia Plemmons is an assistant professor and CAS Undergraduate Economics Program Director in the Department of Economics & Finance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is also a research affiliate of the Knee Center for the Study of Occupational Regulation at Saint Francis University. Alicia graduated with a PhD in economics from Georgia State University in 2019. She earned her MA in economics and her BS in business administration from the University of South Carolina. Her research interests include Austrian economics, law and economics, public choice, public policy, regulatory analysis, spending and budget, and state and local policy. She was a Frédéric Bastiat fellow for the 2018-2019 academic year.
