Alice Calder is a PhD student in economics at the University of New South Wales. Her research interests include a cross-disciplinary approach to understanding the influence of culture, attitudes, and policy on labor market decisions, particularly as they relate to female labor force participation, gender gaps in organizational leadership, and the future of non-traditional work. Alice earned an MA in economics from George Mason University, and a BA in philosophy & political economy from the University of Exeter. She was a Mercatus Center MA fellow during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.
