Alexis Garretson

Alexis Garretson is an MS student in biology at George Mason University. Alexis earned her BS in biology from George Mason University. Alexis currently works as a graduate research fellow at the National Science Foundation and at George Mason University, and is also a research associate at Mohonk Preserve. Her research interests include Austrian economics, development, environmental/energy policy, health care policy, institutional analysis, public choice, regulatory analysis, state and local policy, and applying agent-based modeling to evolutionary systems. Alexis was a Mercatus Center Joseph Schumpeter Fellow during the 2017-2018 academic year, and a Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during the 2018-2019 academic year.
