Alexis Garretson

Alexis Garretson is a PhD student in genetics at Tufts University and The Jackson Laboratory for Mammalian Genetics. Her research interests include data science, healthcare, evolutionary systems, agent-based modeling, institutional analysis, environmental policy, and quantitative methods. Alexis earned an MS in evolutionary biology and a BS in biology from George Mason University. She was a Mercatus Center Joseph Schumpeter fellow during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 academic years, and a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat fellow during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic years.
