Alda Tomo is a PhD student in environmental economics & environmental management at the University of York. Her research interests include human-environment relationships and development, particularly the links between livelihoods and environment; science, policy and environmental governance; and, the practical and policy mechanisms that can advance sustainable development. Alda earned an MS in agricultural economics from Michigan State University and a BS in agronomy from Eduardo Mondlane University.
