Adam Smith Fellow

Adam Burke is a PhD student in anthropology at Texas A&M University. His research interests include raw-material acquisition among Native American groups, specifically lithic raw-materials among Paleoindian hunter-gatherers in northwest Florida. Adam earned an MA in applied archaeology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a BA in history and anthropology from Wilkes University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic years and a Don Lavoie Fellow in the 2020-2021 acadmic year.
