Paola Suarez

Paola Suarez is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Economics at George Mason Universityand a Visiting Ph.D. Student in the Department of Economics at New York University. She is also a Dissertation Fellow at the Mercatus Center and a Visiting Fellow at the Classical Liberal Institute Fellow at New York University School of Law. Paola's dissertation, titled "The Economics of Child-Bride Marriage," theoretically and empirically examines the practice of child-bride marriage in the developing world. Her research interests include applied microeconomics, development economics, political economy, and law and economics.
