Paasha Mahdavi

Paasha Mahdavi is an assistant professor of political science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his PhD in political science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, Paasha was a research and teaching assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles and Stanford University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2013-2014 academic year. He earned an MS in statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MA in international policy studies from Stanford University, and a BA in economics with departmental honors from Columbia University.
