Olga Nicoara

Assistant Professor of Economics, Ursinus College

Olga Nicoara is an assistant professor of economics at Ursinus College. Previously, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Denison University. She earned her PhD in economics from George Mason University in 2014 and was a Mercatus Center PhD Fellow. Her main fields of interest include: institutions and development, entrepreneurship and the market process theory, and constitutional political economy.

While at Mercatus, Olga worked within the Global Prosperity Initiative, part of the Social Change Project. Her research focused on political economy and development questions applicable to Eastern-European democracies.
