Michael Crouch is a PhD student in education policy at Vanderbilt University and a Mercatus Visiting Dissertation Fellow for the 2018-2019 academic year. He has has worked for the Department of Education Reform at the University of Arkansas and is a research officer at the Walton Family Foundation. Michael earned his MPP in public policy from Pepperdine University and his BBA in economics from Harding University. His research interests include state and local policy with a focus on K-12 education policy. Michael was a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during the 2016-2017 academic year.
