Kathleen Sheehan

Kathleen Sheehan is an assistant professor of economics at Creighton University and a scholar at the Institute for Economic Inquiry. She was previously a post-doctoral research associate at the Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University. She earned her PhD in economics in 2014 from West Virginia University, where she taught Comparative Economic Systems, Principles of Microeconomics, and Principles of Macroeconomics. Her research interests include institutional analysis, public economics, spatial econometrics, and economic development. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow, Mercatus Center Visiting Dissertation Fellow and was the W. Marston and Katharine B. Becker Doctoral Fellow at WVU.
