Joe Brunk

Research Assistant, the Mercatus Center

Joe Brunk is a Research Assistant in the Program on Financial Regulation at the Mercatus Center. He is an alumnus of the MA Program in the Department of Economics at George Mason University and was also a Mercatus Center MA Fellow. He graduated in May of 2018. Joe received a BA Economics from Denison University. While at Denison, he worked as a tutor as well as a Research Assistant for the Department of Economics, where he worked on a paper on how entrepreneurs make financial decisions. His research interests include financial markets, small businesses, and entrepreneurship studies. Joe is looking for a job in public policy at a federal agency or on the Hill.
