J. Patrick Higgins

J. Patrick Higgins is currently a PhD student at the University of Lodz, in Poland. He recieved his MA in economics from George Mason University in 2017. While pursuing his MA at George Mason University, he was a Mercatus Center MA Fellow. Patrick has a BS in Sociology and a BA in Economics from Virginia Tech as well as a MA in Sociology from George Mason University. During the fall of 2014, Patrick interned at the Institute for Humane Studies as an Academic Networks Intern. He has also worked for the Interdisciplinary Center for Economics Studies at George Mason University as a lab administrator, grant writer, and researcher. Patrick’s research interests include public choice, Austrian economics, the tradition of neoliberalism in Europe, and economic history.
