Liz Hemsley is a PhD student in political theory at The University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include the social welfare implications of the distribution of resources and the provision of public goods at the global level. Liz earned an MS in political theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 academic years.
