Crystal Dozier

Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Wichita State University

Crystal Dozier is an assistant professor of anthropology at Wichita State University. She earned her PhD in anthropology at Texas A&M University where she was also a teaching assistant, graduate fellow, and graduate assistant in the anthropology department. Her research explores adoption and evolution of socio-political systems in the indigenous societies of pre-modern and early modern America. Crystal earned her MA in anthropology from Texas A&M University, and her BA in anthropology from the University of Chicago. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018 academic years.
