Charles Bartlett

Postdoctoral Fellow, Seminar on Corporations and International Law at Duke University

Charles Bartlett is a postdoctoral fellow at the Seminar on Corporations and International Law at Duke University. He earned his PhD in classics (ancient history) at Harvard University. His research interests include Roman history, ideas of empire, politics, Roman law, and political economy. He earned an AM in classics at Harvard University, an MA in classics at New York University, and a BA in classics and history at McGill University. Charles was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2016-2017 academic year.
