Catherine Konieczny

Economist, U.S. Coast Guard Standards Evaluation and Analysis Division

Catherine Konieczny is currently an Economist at the U.S. Coast Guard Standards Evaluation and Analysis Division. Previously, she has worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Federal Communications Commission. She is an alumna of the MA Program at George Mason University and was also a Mercatus Center MA Fellow. Catherine graduated from the North Carolina State University with a BS in Economics. She previously interned for Federalism in Action through the Koch Fellows Program, State and Budget Solutions through the Koch Internship Program, and the John Locke Foundation. She is interested in regulatory policy, specifically measurement in regulatory impact analysis, the limits of benefit-cost analysis, and the reporting of costs between levels of government.
