Alexander Schaefer

Alexander Schaefer earned his PhD in philosophy at the University of Arizona. His research interests include law and economics, implications of the Coase theorem, and Austrian economics. Alexander earned a BA in philosophy and economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and 2019-2020 academic years and a Don Lavoie Fellow in the 2020-2021 academic year.
